NARA AI/Digital Museum Infrastructure

Client: National Archives and Records Administration, Washington, DC

Scope: Technology infrastructure for $40M museum renovation – first in 20 years. 10,000 sq. ft. exhibition space featuring original artifacts including George Washington’s annotated Constitution.

Deliverables: CAT6 cabling to 27 Cisco Catalyst 9120AXI WAPs, 5.38 Gbit/s aggregate throughput, complete upgrade of fiber infrastructure – certified plenum fiber assemblies, rackmount fiber panels, and fiber terminations to all Intermediate Distribution Frame/Data rooms, complete Fluke VERSIV 2 testing and certification.

Significance: Demonstrated ability to deliver mission-critical infrastructure in a sensitive federal environment, working alongside museum curators, security personnel, and facility managers with zero disruption.

Govini Enterprise Network Build-Out

Client: Govini – Defense software company, Arlington (Rosslyn), VA

Scope: Design, integration, and management of complete network infrastructure for new office expansion. High-security, high-performance environment supporting 300+ devices with 10Gbps external connectivity.

Deliverables: Cisco Meraki MX250 SD-WAN/firewall, 8x MS130-48X PoE switches, 7x CW9178I Wi-Fi 7 access points, VLAN segmentation (Corporate, Guest, A/V, IP Phone), full documentation, managed network services through the stabilisation period. Additional phase: 8 new access points with CAT6e cabling across 3rd and 4th floors.

Performed in collaboration with sister company CMA Technologies under the Nexterra family.

Maman DC Metro Rollout

Client: Maman – New York-founded café, bakery and kitchen group, Washington DC metro area Scope: Standing low-voltage partner for Maman’s DC-area expansion – twelve locations to date, with the newest under way in the Palisades. New openings, takeovers of sites built by other integrators, and the group’s commissary kitchen. Network, IP camera, AV and guest Wi-Fi delivered as a single package, coordinated directly with the group’s general contractors. Deliverables: Full network, IP camera and AV buildouts including MacArthur Boulevard and K Street; Ubiquiti UniFi infrastructure with segmented VLANs isolating the Toast POS for PCI compliance, Sonos music, cameras and guest access; CAT6 plenum cabling, patch panels and rack build; certified terminations, after-hours cutover and next-morning on-site support. Significance: Keltek was brought in after other integrators built the group’s first DC sites, starting with a Georgetown overhaul that cleared long-standing Toast and Sonos faults. Rebuilds run overnight so no store loses a day of trade – including Union Market, the commissary that supplies every other location before opening.

Partnership for Public Service Headquarters Build-Out

Client: Partnership for Public Service – nonpartisan nonprofit, Washington, DC

Scope: Structured cabling, pathway, and server room infrastructure for a Class A office tenant improvement on Level 07 at 600 14th Street NW. 161 plenum drops – 125 data, 36 AV – across 102 device locations spanning private offices, huddle and conference rooms, and open office. Delivered as network and low-voltage integration partner to SQ Audio, prime A/V integrator.

Deliverables: Mohawk CAT6 and Berk-Tek CAT6A plenum cable on an open-ceiling J-hook and bridle-ring pathway, Ortronics Clarity 6 and 6A high-density patch panels, (2) Ortronics Mighty Mo 20 45U four-post racks with vertical cable management, 18″ and 12″ L-shaped telco-style cable runway with rack and runway grounding, rack-mounting and color-coded patching of owner-furnished switches, UPS, and PDUs, and Fluke Versiv 2 certification of all 161 connections to TIA-568, labeled per TIA-606-B with LinkWare PDF results.

Significance: Included a CAT6A run from the 7th-floor server room three floors up to the building’s penthouse event space, routed through mechanical pathways and escorted secure areas in an occupied multi-tenant building – replacing a legacy link from the Partnership’s former 6th-floor suite.

NARA Emergency Wireless Communications

Client: NARA, Washington, DC

Scope: Fiber optic infrastructure for new emergency wireless communications system connecting rooftop installations to security operations centers.

Deliverables: Certified single-mode fiber, 8U open racks, ENT conduit through roof penetrations and stairwells, rackmount fiber panels integrated with existing data center.

Merlin Cyber Federal Cybersecurity HQ

Client: Merlin Cyber, McLean, VA

Scope: Complete technology infrastructure for US Government cybersecurity contractor’s new headquarters.

Deliverables: CAT6 supporting data, VoIP, video conferencing, and audio. Full Fluke certification. Infrastructure designed to support classified/sensitive operations.

Scott Parker Brands Multi-Brand Rollout

Client: Scott Parker Brands – hospitality, pet care and personal services portfolio, Arlington, VA

Scope: Standardized network and A/V infrastructure across a multi-brand portfolio spanning Arlington, McLean, Washington DC, Charlottesville and Baltimore. Cat boarding, dog daycare, barber shops and restaurants – different operations, one repeatable technology build.

Deliverables: Complete network infrastructure for Cozy Cat Suites and the DC-area Playful Pack locations; network and A/V for every Bearded Goat Barber – a rebuild of the original Ballston shop, new construction for all new locations, and an existing-site takeover in Charlottesville; network and A/V for both Baja Tap restaurants, including the extensive Fells Point, Baltimore build. Standardized Ubiquiti UniFi stack with UniFi Protect cameras and local storage, plus distributed audio, HDMI distribution to displays, and PoE DECT telephony.

Significance: A single low-voltage vendor across every brand removes the coordination between cabling and A/V contractors, and gives site managers the same system at every opening. Ongoing on-site support extends to other companies in the portfolio.
